Salute saved the evening. My friend Mike and I went to a local restaurant where we were ignored for 30 minutes....we walked out because they were just too busy. We went to Salute for the first time and it was AMAZING! Everything was delicious...the service was friendly and we even were able to have conversation with the nice customers at the table next to ours.....the grand finale, The chocolate cake....what a surprise, best I have ever had and the story of how it is made ....my favorite restaurant in Racine, WI is Salute! (I hate to be rude but, if you guys could send me the recipie for that cake I would love it!)

My wife and I celebrated our 33rd anniversary by driving south for the day, "...to see where we ended up". SALUTE!
Mama gave us a kitchen tour that reminded us of our trip to Sicilia - the family rolling gnocci together, the sauce cooking on the stove, the friendly smiles! A little chianti and a paninni rounded out a perfect visit.
Your hospitalty was wonderful!

Anytime we visit Salute's Restaurant, John and Ida have made us feel like family. Their food has been what is expected from a family owned Italian Restaurant. Delicious, fresh and made with love. When ever we have out of town guests that may want to go out for dinner in Racine, this is the only restaurant we will bring them to. We have celebrated, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, promotions, every occasion I can think of here and look forward to many more. Salute's offers great food, good service, and drink at a reasonable price. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, every chance I get. I have been a regular patron of Salute' since the beginning.
I have continued to be a regular due to the quality food, atmosphere, and staff.
Tonight, I think you have raised the bar. I'm not sure if you have a new cook, or new supplier, or combination, but I had the best pizza ever !!
I look forward to coming back already - Salute' !!
