I have never been treated so nice by any other people as I have been treated by the owners of Salute. The atmosphere is excellent, you would think that your were in a restaurant right it Italy!!!! With the music, the decor, and the pictures and flags, American and well as Italian. The food is excellent and others have told me about the pizza, but my favorite dish is the chicken rigatonni. The white cream sauce is excellent, I could just eat it alone like a soup. I will definetely return there again real soon.

We like to thank you for the nice dinner and lunch we had in your restaurant .This place is a very cosy place with a nice family atmosphere and wonderful food .
We are used to Dutch restaurants but you can not com pair Salute with a Dutch restaurant .
During our vacation in the USA we visited a lot of restaurants but also com paired with USA restaurants Salute is unique and we will always visit Racine to visit Salute Our compliments also for the service , nice respect full and friendly

We were coming up from Illinois to do some shopping in Racine and not knowing that you closed at 9 we didn't get there until 8.45. Let me first start off by saying that my wife has worked as a server and we know that the last thing you want to do is seat someone right before you close, but the attitude we got from the hostess and server was completely unacceptable. We asked our server if you were closing at 9 and she very quickly put down out menus and turned around to walk away while saying yes with a tone in her voice that told she was not happy. We had heard very good reviews and do plan to be back to try the food, but we will make sure to come as early as we can so not to upset the waitstaff.
